Hi, friend.

I just saw this note from Lynda, and I wanted to make sure you’ve had the chance to read it.

I’m inspired to see all of the hope and hard work that this team continues to accomplish together throughout these busy summer months. It’s the commitment and dedication of Canadians like you that make it possible to achieve our ambitious online fundraising goals and to keep reaching out to more Canadians. And this month, especially with other parties focusing on an election, I’m hoping that you’ll be able to help us reach this crucial end-of-August goal to ensure we’re always ready to keep Canada moving forward.

I know that not everyone is in a position to give at the moment, and that’s ok. Canadians across the country are contributing in other meaningful ways that help power this movement’s progress. But if you’re currently able, will you join the 3,034 other Canadians who have already chipped in online this month?

We’ve achieved some amazing things together as a team this summer, friend.

With innovation and creativity, we’ve strived towards important new online fundraising goals, thousands of Liberal volunteers have participated in our first-ever Virtual Weekends of Action, and we’ve been growing our movement in every part of Canada – all as our Liberal government keeps doing everything it takes to keep Canadians safe and supported.

As you know, friend, there is much more hard work ahead of us than behind us to continue building a better, fairer, and more resilient Canada. And that starts right now.

This past weekend, the Conservatives chose Erin O’Toole as their new leader. Especially with the Conservative Party pledging to roll back our progress, we need to keep working together to support Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team’s work to invest in the middle class and the most vulnerable, grow an economy that works for everyone, keep Canadians safe and healthy, and protect a clean environment.

Right now, our end-of-August grassroots fundraising deadline is fast approaching – and we need your support to reach our goal and keep building on our progress.

Meeting our fundraising goals is crucial to ensuring we can continue getting our volunteers the necessary tools to build winning campaign teams, start new conversations with thousands of Canadians about their ideas and priorities, and always keep stepping up our work to build a better, stronger, and more resilient Canada.

Will you help ensure we reach this important target, friend?

We know that not everyone is in a position to give right now, and that’s ok – we appreciate you standing with us in every possible way. If you’re able though, please chip in $10 today (or whatever amount works for you) to support our progress and keep Canada moving forward.

P.S. Getting a few too many emails right now? We get it. Understandably, the last few months have been stressful for a lot of Canadians.
