Educating and connecting with voters on important issues.

I know how deeply our community values safety, and right now, many of us are concerned about the direction things are heading. Policies like the Safe-T Act have proven to be detrimental to the safety of our communities, directly contributing to a rise in violent crime. It is unacceptable that everyday citizens are feeling less safe in their own neighborhoods. Furthermore, the radical agenda attacking our police has deterred people from joining the force, driving recruitment to all-time lows and exacerbating our safety challenges. We cannot continue to support a system that favors criminals over victims.

To reverse this dangerous trend, my goal is to strongly oppose defunding our local police departments while advocating for sensible criminal justice reforms. We must provide our law enforcement officers with improved training and procedural improvements so they can do their jobs effectively. The impact of this approach will be clear: by ending the reckless practice of releasing violent felons on their own recognizance, we will immediately make our communities safer. It is time to restore order and ensure that our neighborhoods remain secure places to live, work, and raise a family.

Restoring Safety and Accountability to Our Communities

Recently, the DuPage Policy Journal reported that Glen Ellyn residents are experiencing a spike in encounters with a volatile homeless population, coupled with a lack of adequate enforcement policies. Residents have witnessed homeless individuals threatening pedestrians and screaming at children, yet the response is often nonexistent or subpar. Furthermore, despite hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars being spent statewide, homelessness continues to worsen. Organizations heavily dependent on public funding, like DuPage Pads, are seeing their waitlists explode while their executives receive massive salaries and demand even more state funding.

This escalating crisis is a direct result of the failed, radical agenda championed by politicians like Democrat incumbent Sean Casten. Instead of demanding accountability and fiscal responsibility, Casten handpicked the CEO of DuPage Pads as a VIP guest for the 2023 State of the Union Address to praise federal support for organizations like hers. Casten is one of the most liberal members of the House Democratic caucus. Instead of protecting our communities, Sean Casten favors criminals over victims and turns a blind eye to the systemic inefficiencies making our district less safe.

When elected to represent the 6th District in the U.S. House of Representatives, Niki Conforti will prioritize public safety and ensure taxpayer dollars are not wasted by systematic inefficiencies. She will take direct federal action by:
1. 1. Stopping Wasteful Spending: To maximize the impact of your tax dollars, Niki will push for spending caps that rein in the Left's radical debt crisis. Furthermore, she will hold Washington accountable by ensuring the oversight committee aggressively investigates financial fraud and abuse.

2. 2. Backing Law Enforcement: Niki opposes defunding our local police departments. She will support sensible criminal justice reforms, improved police training, and procedural improvements.
