Hi there, my name is Denise Powell, and I want to reintroduce myself! I am the Democratic nominee running to flip Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District. This is a highly competitive race that Republicans won by less than 2 points in 2024.
We’ve got a real shot at flipping this district and winning back a Democratic House Majority, but we have to start now. Want to be a part of this groundswell movement to flip this district from red to blue? Chip in any amount right now:
Here’s what you should know about me:
🧑🧑🧒🧒 I’m a mom to two teenagers (plus one dog!) and the daughter of Cuban and Chilean immigrants. I grew up speaking Spanish and have idealized the American Dream for as long as I can remember.
🏢 I’m the cofounder of Women Who Run, an organization that helps women in Nebraska with their election campaigns. I helped found this organization in the wake of Donald Trump’s first election, when electing common sense candidates up and down the ballot became more important than ever.
📋 I’ve spent over a decade as a community organizer in the state of Nebraska. I’ve worked hard to protect women’s rights, the right to the American Dream, and funding for our public schools… just to name a few.
I know that a strong work ethic and a love of family and community are what make Nebraska such a special place to live and raise a family. It’s what I love most about this awesome state.
But our friends and neighbors are struggling to make ends meet right now and there’s no relief in sight. Donald Trump is causing costs to skyrocket, waging an illegal war, and trying to do anything to distract from the Epstein files. We’re all feeling this pain at the grocery store, gas station and everywhere else.
I’m running for Congress to fight back, but I can’t get there without your help.
Will you donate any amount now to help me flip NE-02 blue, say no MAGA corruption, and get to work fighting for our neighbors as your next Congresswoman?

Let’s be brave together!
