President Donald J. Trump and the Republican National Committee have announced the details for the 2026 Republican Mid-term National Convention in Dallas, TX, September 9 and 10.
This is the first Mid-term National Convention in Republican Party history. President Trump believes it is important for winning Congressional elections and other elections this November. And he’s said on the record that this Convention will be a “once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
This Mid-term Convention will be different than standard presidential-election year conventions. The Republican National Committee has delegated selection of attendees to the various State Parties. But the timeline to make these selections is tight: State Parties have until July 15 to submit their attendee lists to the RNC.
For best-possible speed and fairness, the WAGOP is distributing most of its convention tickets through a modified Dutch auction (also known as a “sealed-bid, descending price” auction). Bids start at $125 but can go as high as each bidder chooses. Republicans interested in attending the 2026 Mid-term Convention, can make a non-refundable bid at this link: Support - Washington State Republican Party (WAGOP).
WAGOP will distribute tickets based on bids received by 6 p.m. on Tuesday evening, July 14. Bidders can place multiple bids, if they wish—but all bids are non-refundable.
NOTE: These tickets admit individuals to the 2026 Republican Mid-term National Convention. They do NOT include travel or accommodations in Dallas—and the RNC is requiring attendees to stay at designated Mid-term Convention hotels in Dallas. More details on those accommodations will be available after the attendee lists from each state are finalized.
