Ken Paxton is the most corrupt thug in Texas politics and he's going to
use every trick in the book, every dollar from his billionaire backers, to
go after James Talarico.

We can't let James fight him alone.

That's why Powered by People is opening up another front in this fight:
reaching, registering and turning out new voters who can be the margin of
victory in November.

The Talarico campaign can't be expected to do everything. He's already
traveling the state, firing up Democrats and reaching across the partisan
divide to bring in Republicans and Independents. He's delivering a
powerful message about a new politics for a new moment in America and
putting to rest the corruption and cynicism represented by Paxton.

That's why Powered by People volunteers are out there across Texas, on
college campuses, at big concerts, in local coffee shops and clubs -- in
other words, wherever young and future voters gather -- meeting people
where they are to bring them into this election. We're trying to reach and
turn out more than 100,000 young people through the hard work of our
exceptional volunteers.

And we know it's working, because Paxton has spent precious time and
resources trying to stop us -- through lawsuits, threats and Fox News
crash outs -- distracting him from his campaign against James.
