Dear neighbor,

Last week, I received a certificate from the California National Organization for Women, congratulated a local small business on 4 years of serving our neighborhoods, met with a health products brand in our district, and presented a Congressional certificate to a new business in our area.

A special thanks to the California National Organization for Women for presenting me with a certificate recognizing my support for the Equal Rights Amendment last week. I was honored to have President Carmina Davidson on hand to present it. It is time to ratify the ERA and guarantee that men and women are equal under the law.

I also congratulated Pressed + Flower in Azusa on 4 years of serving coffee and community in CA-31! I had the pleasure of presenting owner Laura Nawaya and her hardworking team with a certificate of recognition. I’m always proud to celebrate our district’s small businesses.

Additionally, I enjoyed meeting with Diamond Nutriceutical last week, a consumer brand in CA-31 that specializes in health products. We discussed my advocacy for policies that benefit and uplift our local businesses. I’m always grateful for the opportunity to support our local leaders.

Finally, it was a pleasure to present the Swing Bays with a certificate of Congressional recognition for their upcoming grand opening. This indoor golf training facility will be a welcome addition to the San Gabriel Valley.

Catch up with Congress

I recently joined my Democratic colleagues to demand Secretary Hegseth reinstate flu vaccine mandates for our servicemembers.

The flu outbreak at Lackland Air Force Base is a direct consequence of his repeal. Any policy affecting our servicemembers’ quality of life should be guided by science.
