Justice for Jacob March and Rally
Jacob Blake's family and their supporters invite you to a march and rally in support of #JusticeForJacob. The lead organizers of this event are Justin Blake, Tanya McLean, and Alvin Owens. Co-sponsors include Justice for Jacob, Our Wisconsin Revolution, Fight for $15, New Era Chicago, and Unia-Acl Sir Isaiah Morter Division 401 Chicago.
The march and rally will begin tomorrow, Saturday, August 29, at 2 p.m. CT, at Regimen Barber Collective, 1345 52nd St., Kenosha, WI 53140. Please bring bottled water to share if you can and a first aid kit if you have one, wear masks, and practice social distancing. Certified EMTs or volunteer medics are asked to report to the march at noon.
The Justice for Jacob march and rally will be a peaceful event. Out-of-town attendees are asked to leave Kenosha shortly after the event concludes, as travel after curfew could become difficult, and we want you to get home safe.
Whether or not you can attend tomorrow's Justice for Jacob rally and march, please consider taking these actions to help Jacob Blake's family and demand Justice for Jacob:

Follow the ACLU's call for the immediate resignation of Kenosha Police Chief Daniel Miskinis and Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth.
Sheriff David Beth's deputies not only socialized with white supremacist counter-protesters on Tuesday but allowed the shooter to leave the scene. Sheriff Beth also previously called for five people of color who had been arrested for shoplifting to "be put into warehouses." Gov. Tony Evers has the power to dismiss county sheriffs. To call for Kenosha County David Beth's resignation, call Evers's office at (608) 266-1212.
Police Chief Daniel Miskinis blamed the victims in Tuesday night's shooting for their own deaths during the police department's first press conference in response to the Blake shooting and subsequent murders committed at protests. To call for Kenosha Police Chief Daniel Miskinis's resignation, contact the Kenosha Police and Fire Commission at (262) 653-4135, or fill out a citizen complaint form (pdf).
