Roger Marshall can't win on his merits, so he's making sexist remarks to attack Barbara Bollier.

The Senate race in Kansas is heating up, and we've got a few things to say about Roger Marshall, the Republican running in the race.

Roger Marshall is unfit to be a U.S. senator.

He betrayed Kansas farmers to curry favor with President Trump. As a member of Congress, he voted to rip health care coverage away from people with pre-existing conditions. And recently, he resorted to bizarre personal attacks against our candidate, Dr. Barbara Bollier.

With the polls showing an essentially tied race, Marshall is running scared.

Last week, he resorted to spreading sexist lies about Barbara.

First, he said he wouldn't be surprised if Bollier can’t spell the word biofuels. Then he said she can't tell the difference between a Holstein and a Hereford. (She can.)

In the same interview he said that young people shouldering student debt "made bad decisions," that success in life has nothing to do with privilege or different advantages one has due to parental income, race, gender or any other factor, and that impoverished or unemployed Kansans have had the same opportunities he had.

Roger Marshall is in this race to fight for himself. He clearly doesn't understand the challenges facing Kansans. Barbara Bollier does.
