Hey John,

Well, I've made a tactical error.

Last week, I bet J.D. that he couldn't throw 87 mph anymore. He's 40 years old and hasn't pitched professionally in years... I thought it would be easy money.

But of course, in typical Scholten fashion, he threw 87 and shocked all of us… and won my money. That's not even the worst part: He has not stopped bragging about it.

On top of that, we're facing a critical end-of-month fundraising deadline, with $14,484 left to raise.

So, John, since he's got such a great arm, I thought we might put it to good use.

If you chip in $5 before our end-of-month deadline, we'll send you an autographed campaign baseball card. I'm sure J.D. will be thrilled to sign a couple hundred cards, even if it takes all night! >> [link removed]
