The Republican National Convention spent a lot of time trying to
convince us, against all logic, that Donald Trump was somehow NOT
Donald Trump -- the individual who put children in cages, embraced
white supremacists, completely botched the COVID-19 response and
is hell-bent on dividing our country and undermining our
democracy. Trump himself went so far as to compare himself in his
remarks with the likes of Lincoln and FDR!

We know the truth: no American president has disrespected our
Constitution and our governing principles more than this one. But
we can't afford to dismiss his aggressive propaganda campaign if
we want to prevent a replay of 2016.

There is a reason that Trump is the first president to disgrace
the White House by using it as a personal political prop at a
convention. He simply doesn't understand WHO we are and can't
comprehend the concept of 'public service.'

Our White House was debased as a mere backdrop for Trump's
desperate effort to avoid accountability for his role in over
180,000 American deaths and tens of millions without jobs.
