We’re constantly being reminded of the stakes. About exactly what’s on the line in November.

Earlier this week, that reminder came in the form of Trump’s latest politicization of the CDC — an organization that the entire world depends on for fact-based information. Or at least used to.

We need to fight back. We need to expand our majority in the House, flip the Senate, and take back the White House. That starts with you. Before our end-of-month deadline gets here, can I count on you to chip in $25? [link removed]

This is alarming. The CDC is supposed to be above politics, but the Trump administration is happy to drag a once proud institution into the gutter with them. All in an effort to paint a rosier picture of a public health crisis that the president has made worse with his incompetence. 

With 181,000 COVID deaths and counting, this is what we’re up against. In your face, quiet part out loud corruption. And in the end, it’s the American people who suffer.
