I’ll start with the bad news: Yesterday, we missed our daily goal and now we’re behind on our August fundraising. So, I’ve scheduled an urgent meeting Monday morning to reconsider our budget for the final few weeks of the campaign.

I’d like to walk into Monday’s meeting with good news for John and the team. But unless grassroots supporters like you pitch in right now, I might have to recommend we cut our planned media and GOTV budgets.
