Opinion: Here's the great failing of party conventions - and US politics
By Senator Joe Lieberman, No Labels national co-chairman

"The first two virtual national conventions in American history have been successful in many ways. But the change has also had at least one bad consequence, and that is the failure to bring together in one place people in each party with different points of view. That, in turn, reflects a larger problem that ails our national politics..."

New! on Gridlock Break

As election day nears, any of the three possible results - a Democratic sweep, a Republican sweep, or a split government - could be problematic. No Labels is committed to the maintenance of a bipartisan partnership to avoid gridlock. In this episode, leaders within the No Labels organization will discuss how the mission of No Labels is changing with the field, plans to continue their work in November and beyond, and how  the organization can support those in office.

Interested in Volunteering on a Campaign?

No Labels is putting together a volunteer program to help support members of the Problem Solvers Caucus! We are looking for volunteers to help certain members in their general election campaign. Many members will have a tough race in the fall, and they need our help to ensure they win and remain a Problem Solver in the next Congress.

If you are interested, please take a minute to fill out a brief survey indicating some of your preferences. Your answers will help us shape this new and exciting program.

Virtual Event: No Labels Youth Congress

Young people today look at the horror that defines American politics with dismay. After all, they will have to clean up tomorrow the mess our incumbent leaders created. In that spirit, No Labels is establishing a new No Labels Youth Congress as an opportunity for tomorrow’s leaders, age 18 to 30, to learn from and with each other. The No Labels Youth Congress campaign will kick off with a conversation between Wall Street Journal columnist Dr. Bill Galston and Ryan Clancy, No Labels Chief Strategist, on September 26th. If you are 18 to 30 years old, click below to sign up!

We want to hear from you.
If the situation in your area stays the same, would you send your children to school if your local school district re-starts classes in the fall?
