This has been a hard week for anyone who believes in fair elections. Trump hollowed out the federal commission meant to protect them, and made it a little clearer that the guardrails we've long taken for granted can't be counted on this fall.

But here's what I keep coming back to: we are not powerless.

We can't stop him from reshaping a federal agency. We can decide, right now, that voters in the states that matter most will not be left to face intimidation alone.

That's the entire purpose of Operation: Vote Safe — and fully funding it is the most direct thing you can do this weekend to fight back. Organizers on the ground. Voters who know their rights. A response ready before Election Day, not after.
