My single mom worked incredibly hard, but there were times when she just
couldn’t make ends meet. Programs like Medicaid, SNAP, and the Childcare
Assistance Program helped us get by, and lifted us a little closer to the
middle class.
Minnesota’s teachers and public schools changed my life. When it came time
to go to college, I stayed in Minnesota. (Go Gophers!)
I’m raising my daughter in the same place I grew up. Every day, we see our
neighbors step up for each other, in ways big and small.
I would do anything for Minnesota — except take corporate PAC money.
