In a few moments, I will ask you to make a contribution to help me flip this seat in North Carolina and take back the Senate. This is an extraordinarily important moment for our campaign. Let me explain:

North Carolina doesn’t do landslides. Recent polling has us locked in a tight race with Republican incumbent Thom Tillis — showing our campaign either tied, within the margin of error, or ahead by single digits.

That’s why Senate Republicans are spending millions to run misleading ads against me. It’s no coincidence these false attacks come right on the heels of poll numbers showing just how vulnerable Tillis is.

They know if we win this election, we could end Mitch McConnell’s Senate majority for good. But there’s no doubt in my mind this race will be a squeaker, which means everything we do right now will make a tremendous difference in the final outcome.

Experts believe this will be the most expensive Senate race in the country, and McConnell’s network of corporate special interests is already spending whatever it takes to defeat us. We cannot win without a whole bunch of folks like you chipping in whatever you can to help us fight back.
