[link removed] [[link removed]]Friend, I know there are a lot of messages in your inbox, but this isn't a normal fundraising email. If you have just a few minutes, I'd like to share some of my personal story with you. But if you’re short on time today, I get it. Can I count on your support this week? [[link removed]]
I grew up under tough circumstances in Youngstown, Ohio. My brother and I were frequent fliers in Children's Services, and we lived in over a dozen places by the time I was 12.
We even spent one Ohio winter living in a tent.
I credit public schools with saving my life. My teachers gave me the tools I needed to get accepted into medical school straight out of high school. I worked three jobs in college to fulfill my dream of becoming a doctor.
I don't come from wealth or power. I come from humble beginnings.
I’m not sharing this story to earn sympathy points. I’m sharing it because I know that my story isn’t unique.
All across Ohio, working families are struggling to keep a roof over their heads and put food on the table.
And that’s not because we don’t work hard – it’s because our Statehouse has looked away from the problems Ohioans face for far too long.
So when a private jet-flying billionaire like Vivek Ramaswamy attacks Ohioans as “lazy” and “mediocre,” goes after teachers, and calls Medicaid a “mistake” – I take that personally.
I’ve lived the struggles that Ohioans know far too well. I'm running for governor because we need leaders who understand what working folks are up against – not more of the same out-of-touch policies. But I can't do this alone.
So friend, I know your money is hard-earned, and I know you're not an ATM. This is a grassroots campaign full of nurses, teachers, farmers, stay-at-home parents, and retirees – who chip in just a few dollars at a time. So all I'm asking for is $10: [[link removed]]

I am a doctor, advocate, and problem-solver. I'm running for Governor because I refuse to look away from Ohioans who are struggling and it’s time to give power back to the people and our communities.
Together, we will build the Ohio we know is possible. Will you become a grassroots donor to my campaign and chip in any amount today?
