Hey,

You may have seen recent headlines about an NFL player who was
arrested in New York for doing something with his gun that would have
been perfectly legal in most other states.

Details aside, that’s the part that should give every gun owner
pause.

He wasn’t accused of harming anyone.

He wasn’t acting recklessly.

He did something many lawful gun owners would reasonably believe was
legal.

But the moment location changed, so did the rules — and the
consequences were immediate.

Most of us assume the real danger zones are places like New York, New
Jersey, or California.

But here’s the uncomfortable truth:

EVEN “PRO-GUN” STATES HAVE PROVISIONS THAT CAN GET GUN OWNERS IN
TROUBLE — ESPECIALLY WHEN TRAVELING. [4]

Texas. Florida. Arizona.

All gun-friendly.

All with specific gun rules that are uncommon in most states that can
get a gun owner in trouble.

The problem isn’t malicious intent.

It’s invisible legal boundaries that shift from state to state —
and sometimes city to city.

That’s why we recommend the LEGAL BOUNDARIES [4] book.

It’s not about fear or paranoia.

It’s about understanding where the lines actually are _before_ you
cross them — not learning the hard way after a stop, a search, or an
arrest.

If you carry, travel, or transport firearms — even occasionally —
this is information you need in advance.

Because the most dangerous assumption a gun owner can make is thinking
that they can trust the answers found in a quick online search.

Stay safe,
