John,

Kamala Harris condemned Donald Trump in her historic speech at the Democratic National Convention: "I've fought for children and survivors of sexual assault. I know a predator when I see one."

Senator Harris used her remarks to combat weeks of racist and misogynistic assaults from Trump and his supporters.

Unsurprisingly, Trump, who rose to political power through unfounded attacks like the questioning of Barack Obama’s citizenship, was quick to charge Harris with the same racist birther trope. At a press conference, Trump said he heard from a “very highly qualified” lawyer that Harris doesn’t qualify for the vice presidency because “she wasn’t born in this country.”

As always, Trump’s racist attack was a total lie -- Harris, the daughter of two immigrants, was born in Oakland, California. But Trump and the GOP are threatened by Harris’ strength and ambition as a woman, and they will continue to weaponize racism and misogyny to keep her out of the White House.

As Trump and the GOP attempt to delegitimize Harris and the Biden campaign through racist and misogynistic attacks, it’s essential we know where voters like you stand on the first woman of color to be a major party nominee for vice president. Tell us now:

Will you support Biden-Harris this November?
