John, back in 1982, I put out a little workout tape. Maybe you've heard of it. 😉

I got a lot of people flexing muscles they forgot they had, and I’m proud of what we accomplished. But the most important muscle I've ever worked isn't in my legs or my arms.

It's hope. And the more we use it, the stronger it gets.

Hope doesn't grow on its own. We have to keep working at it, especially when the challenges seem insurmountable. Hope is getting up every day, even when the odds are stacked against us, and saying, “I’m not giving up.”

Hope is voting in every election, even when not every election goes our way. It’s showing up at protests, town halls, and community meetings, even when it feels like no one is listening. It’s continuing to organize, educate, and advocate, even when progress is slow.

Every time you knock on a door, make a phone call, or cast your ballot, you’re building that muscle.

And when we all put in those reps together, the results speak for themselves. John, you should see the shape this movement is in. 💪
