Friends,

Today marks the 57th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. In his famous “I Have a Dream” speech delivered on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr declared: “Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.”

Unfortunately, we are now living in a time where the quicksands of racial injustice threaten to swallow the most vulnerable Americans. The Trump administration has now rolled back protections for DACA recipients -- even though the Supreme Court already blocked their efforts to do so earlier this summer.

But despite the high court -- and purely out of cruelty -- the Trump White House is now refusing to accept any more DACA applications and is instead slashing deportation protections by a full year.

Here we are. SCOTUS refused to end DACA, so Trump is winding it down himself -- and hoping no one will notice. We’ve noticed. We won’t stand for it -- and we don’t have time to wait for a Biden victory in November when millions of undocumented immigrants are vulnerable now. That’s why we’re reaching out to you -- we need to send a strong message to Donald Trump that we know exactly what he’s up to and that he won’t get away with it on our watch. If you agree, tell us now:

Do you stand with DREAMers?
