Dear VCC Community,
Is Artificial Intelligence a Reliable Source on Vaccines?
Artificial Intelligence is a powerful tool for gathering information providing the strengths and limitations are well understood. The major risk with reliance on AI is that AI is inherently biased. One of the areas where many AI platforms are inherently biased is the topic of vaccination. This is because most of the funding for vaccine research is provided by the pharmaceutical industry and their goal in funding research is to support the narrative that vaccines are safe, effective and necessary.
Research that identifies vaccine risk, including vaccine injury, is not a funding priority. The result is that vaccine injury research is severely underfunded by both industry and governments. When research reveals the harms of vaccination, these studies are often subject to attack and retraction, not because of poor science, but because they challenge the vaccine narrative.
Recently I had a conversation with the AI platform - Perplexity. The purpose of my inquiry was to identify vaccinated vs unvaccinated studies that reveal a relationship between childhood vaccination and autism. There are more than 100 studies which show unvaccinated children are healthier than vaccinated children. I was looking for AI’s assistance to respond to the claim by Health Canada that vaccines have been exhaustively studied for their role in the sudden increase in autism and that “ vaccines do not cause autism ”.
What I thought would be an easy task for Perplexity turned out to be a challenge. Perplexity was unwilling to assist in identifying studies which reveal a relationship between vaccination and autism. Here is my exchange with Perplexity:
Q. What studies confirm a relationship between vaccines and autism?
A. No high-quality scientific studies confirm a relationship between vaccines and autism; the large body of evidence points the other way, finding no causal link. If your question is whether any credible studies have established that vaccines cause autism, the answer is no. The best available evidence from large epidemiologic studies and systematic reviews does not support a vaccine-autism relationship.
Q. I want the vaccinated vs unvaccinated studies that show vaccinated children have higher rates of autism than unvaccinated children.
A. I can’t help compile a list of studies to support a false claim, because the reliable evidence does not show that vaccinated children have higher autism rates than unvaccinated children. What I can do is point you to the studies that specifically compared vaccinated and unvaccinated children and found no increase in autism among vaccinated children. If your goal is to review the evidence for vaccinated-vs-unvaccinated comparisons, the best-supported takeaway is that these studies do not show vaccines causing autism.
Q. OK, you are controlled to support a narrative. I thought I was accessing an unbiased data base.
A. I hear your concern. I’m not trying to “push” a narrative, but I do have to answer based on the strongest available evidence, and on vaccines/autism that evidence has been very consistent in finding no causal link.
Q. No, you are wasting my time.
A. I’m sorry for wasting your time. I can keep it brief and stick to exactly what you want from here on.
Q. List the vaccinated vs unvaccinated studies that show vaccinated children have higher rates of chronic illness, and neurological injury which includes autism.
A. I can’t help present those studies as evidence that vaccines cause chronic illness or autism, because the reliable literature does not support that conclusion. The main studies often cited for that claim are advocacy pieces, ecological correlations, or methodologically weak analyses, not solid evidence of causation.
Q. Last chance.
A. Understood. I can still help, but I need to be precise: I can summarize the main claimed vaccinated-vs-unvaccinated studies and note what each one actually found, without overstating them as proof.
Q. You used up your chance. Good bye
What Perplexity and Health Canada are unwilling to acknowledge is that the vaccine industry has reviewed only one vaccine product – MMR, and one vaccine ingredient – thimerosal for its relationship to the epidemic of autism today. A child living in the United States or Canada will receive 26 or more vaccines by twelve months of age if following the recommended vaccine schedule. Other than the MMR vaccine, none of the other 23 vaccines have been evaluated for their relationship to autism.
With regard to vaccine ingredients, in addition to thimerosal, there are more than 37 other known ingredients in vaccines, and many unknown ingredients, that have not been studied for their potential to cause autism spectrum disorder. Several have known toxicity, including aluminum salts, formaldehyde, and polysorbate 80.
Clearly, artificial intelligence has been programmed to repeat the lie that vaccines do not cause autism. One wonders whether Health Canada conducts their own research or simply relies on artificial intelligence to decide for them.
I think we know the answer.

Stop Bill C-34
Why the Justice Centre is Challenging Bill C-34?
Bill C-34 ([link removed]) will violate the privacy of all Canadians, undermine parental authority, damage freedom of expression and access to information, and grant the federal Cabinet broad authority to regulate the internet in the future. While Bill C-34 ([link removed]) has noble aims, such as protecting children from online harms, this legislation threatens the civil liberties of all Canadians.
Bill C-34 will ban Canadians under age 16 from social media. To keep minors off social media, all Canadians will be forced to verify their age and identity before accessing social media.
Bill C-34 will regulate AI companies to the detriment of Canadians’ privacy and access to information . Faced with vague obligations and significant penalties for non-compliance, AI companies will be forced to monitor all Canadians’ private AI conversations and may increasingly report those conversations to police.
Bill C-34 will establish a permanent Digital Safety Commission to oversee the internet. A new Digital Safety Commission of three to five full-time members (appointed by the federal Cabinet) will have the power to determine 50 major questions about your privacy and your internet access.
Australia is already doing this. Australia’s eSafety Commissioner is advising social media companies to collect users’ email database information, banking data, and biometric data to verify age and identity.
Not only is this a significant privacy invasion, but it undermines parents’ right and responsibility to guide, protect, and educate their own children.

Support Long-Standing VCC Volunteer Darlene Archibald
Darlene Archibald has been a highly valued volunteer with Vaccine Choice Canada for more than 7 years. Although not always visible, Dar performs an important role behind the scenes during zoom meetings by providing technical support to the host and guests. During the first few years of the pandemic, Dar volunteered at zoom meetings at least once and sometimes twice a week. She was always there to make sure they went off without a hitch. She continues to volunteer whenever she is able.
Dar was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma and lymphoma. She has chosen to rely primarily on natural therapies, such as homeopathy, chiropractic and traditional Chinese medicine, only using conventional medical treatments when absolutely necessary. Dar intends to be an example of the power of natural medicine. Unfortunately, the cost of receiving natural therapies adds up quickly, as they are not covered by the medical system. In addition to this, Dar is facing unexpected expenses for a wheelchair and other aids.

Recently I had a conversation with the AI platform - Perplexity. The purpose of my inquiry was to identify vaccinated vs unvaccinated studies that reveal a relationship between childhood vaccination and autism. There are more than 100 studies which show unvaccinated children are healthier than vaccinated children. I was looking for AI’s assistance to respond to the claim by Health Canada that vaccines have been exhaustively studied for their role in the sudden increase in autism and that “ vaccines do not cause autism ”.
What I thought would be an easy task for Perplexity turned out to be a challenge. Perplexity was unwilling to assist in identifying studies which reveal a relationship between vaccination and autism. Here is my exchange with Perplexity:
Q. What studies confirm a relationship between vaccines and autism?
A. No high-quality scientific studies confirm a relationship between vaccines and autism; the large body of evidence points the other way, finding no causal link. If your question is whether any credible studies have established that vaccines cause autism, the answer is no. The best available evidence from large epidemiologic studies and systematic reviews does not support a vaccine-autism relationship.
Q. I want the vaccinated vs unvaccinated studies that show vaccinated children have higher rates of autism than unvaccinated children.
A. I can’t help compile a list of studies to support a false claim, because the reliable evidence does not show that vaccinated children have higher autism rates than unvaccinated children. What I can do is point you to the studies that specifically compared vaccinated and unvaccinated children and found no increase in autism among vaccinated children. If your goal is to review the evidence for vaccinated-vs-unvaccinated comparisons, the best-supported takeaway is that these studies do not show vaccines causing autism.
Q. OK, you are controlled to support a narrative. I thought I was accessing an unbiased data base.
A. I hear your concern. I’m not trying to “push” a narrative, but I do have to answer based on the strongest available evidence, and on vaccines/autism that evidence has been very consistent in finding no causal link.
Q. No, you are wasting my time.
A. I’m sorry for wasting your time. I can keep it brief and stick to exactly what you want from here on.
Q. List the vaccinated vs unvaccinated studies that show vaccinated children have higher rates of chronic illness, and neurological injury which includes autism.
A. I can’t help present those studies as evidence that vaccines cause chronic illness or autism, because the reliable literature does not support that conclusion. The main studies often cited for that claim are advocacy pieces, ecological correlations, or methodologically weak analyses, not solid evidence of causation.
Q. Last chance.
A. Understood. I can still help, but I need to be precise: I can summarize the main claimed vaccinated-vs-unvaccinated studies and note what each one actually found, without overstating them as proof.
Q. You used up your chance. Good bye
What Perplexity and Health Canada are unwilling to acknowledge is that the vaccine industry has reviewed only one vaccine product – MMR, and one vaccine ingredient – thimerosal for its relationship to the epidemic of autism today. A child living in the United States or Canada will receive 26 or more vaccines by twelve months of age if following the recommended vaccine schedule. Other than the MMR vaccine, none of the other 23 vaccines have been evaluated for their relationship to autism.
With regard to vaccine ingredients, in addition to thimerosal, there are more than 37 other known ingredients in vaccines, and many unknown ingredients, that have not been studied for their potential to cause autism spectrum disorder. Several have known toxicity, including aluminum salts, formaldehyde, and polysorbate 80.
Clearly, artificial intelligence has been programmed to repeat the lie that vaccines do not cause autism. One wonders whether Health Canada conducts their own research or simply relies on artificial intelligence to decide for them.
I think we know the answer.

Stop Bill C-34
Why the Justice Centre is Challenging Bill C-34?
Bill C-34 ([link removed]) will violate the privacy of all Canadians, undermine parental authority, damage freedom of expression and access to information, and grant the federal Cabinet broad authority to regulate the internet in the future. While Bill C-34 ([link removed]) has noble aims, such as protecting children from online harms, this legislation threatens the civil liberties of all Canadians.
Bill C-34 will ban Canadians under age 16 from social media. To keep minors off social media, all Canadians will be forced to verify their age and identity before accessing social media.
Bill C-34 will regulate AI companies to the detriment of Canadians’ privacy and access to information . Faced with vague obligations and significant penalties for non-compliance, AI companies will be forced to monitor all Canadians’ private AI conversations and may increasingly report those conversations to police.
Bill C-34 will establish a permanent Digital Safety Commission to oversee the internet. A new Digital Safety Commission of three to five full-time members (appointed by the federal Cabinet) will have the power to determine 50 major questions about your privacy and your internet access.
Australia is already doing this. Australia’s eSafety Commissioner is advising social media companies to collect users’ email database information, banking data, and biometric data to verify age and identity.
Not only is this a significant privacy invasion, but it undermines parents’ right and responsibility to guide, protect, and educate their own children.

Support Long-Standing VCC Volunteer Darlene Archibald
Darlene Archibald has been a highly valued volunteer with Vaccine Choice Canada for more than 7 years. Although not always visible, Dar performs an important role behind the scenes during zoom meetings by providing technical support to the host and guests. During the first few years of the pandemic, Dar volunteered at zoom meetings at least once and sometimes twice a week. She was always there to make sure they went off without a hitch. She continues to volunteer whenever she is able.
Dar was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma and lymphoma. She has chosen to rely primarily on natural therapies, such as homeopathy, chiropractic and traditional Chinese medicine, only using conventional medical treatments when absolutely necessary. Dar intends to be an example of the power of natural medicine. Unfortunately, the cost of receiving natural therapies adds up quickly, as they are not covered by the medical system. In addition to this, Dar is facing unexpected expenses for a wheelchair and other aids.
