Two months ago, the House passed the bipartisan Justice in Policing Act to address police violence and systemic racism.
As it gathered dust on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's desk this week, Jacob Blake was shot by police in broad daylight in front of his children.
Enough is enough. Americans need real reform NOW.
Today, on the 57th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, I'm once again asking Leader McConnell to defend the civil rights of every American and to finally bring the Justice in Policing Act to the Senate floor.
