John,

I know it’s late, but I can't stop thinking about how AIPAC, corporate
PACs, and a couple of MAGA billionaires could run away with this election
simply because they’re outspending us.

It’s something we always knew was coming — and yes, we’re leading in most
of the primary and general polls — but it’s still making me nervous.

I don't want all of our hard work to get erased because a handful of
people with more money than sense decided to put their thumb on the scale.
And I wish I didn’t have to constantly be asking for support, but this is
the reality of competing in a broken system.

I'm not writing this because I think you haven't
done enough, or
because I have some perfect ask prepared. I'm writing because it's late,
I'm worried, and I trust you enough to just tell you that.

If you're able to pitch in a few bucks tonight, it would mean more to me
than I can really put into words right now:

And if you can’t donate tonight, just know that I’m fighting for you
either way. Let’s keep pushing.

In solidarity,

Abdul
