Indivisibles,

All week, the Republican National Convention (RNC) has ignored the pain
and devastation ravaging every corner of our country. Just hours before
Trump’s final speech of the convention, Kamala Harris spoke on behalf of
the people the RNC neglected.

[ [link removed] ]In her address, she talked about the wildfires blazing through
California, the ruin left behind by Hurricane Laura in Louisiana, and the
sadness and anger for Jacob Blake and those shot in pursuit of justice. As
if this week wasn’t grueling enough, the pandemic is still raging and
claiming lives -- especially those of Black, brown, and indigenous people.
The best way to make sure our government listens to our concerns is to get
involved and vote. We need to reach voters all over the country to make
sure they’re prepared and informed ahead of November 3. If you’re ready to
do your part to help us win the White House, take back the Senate, and
keep the House, sign up to phonebank with Windivisible:

Kamala pointed out how, unlike the Democratic National Convention, the RNC
has strategically avoided confronting any of these issues head-on. Instead
of acknowledging the problems at hand, the speakers have been
Trump-centric (literally the entire Trump family spoke this week) and
focused on attacking any opposition. Kamala is right: the RNC shouldn’t be
only about Donald Trump, it should be about the people. Our nation is
hurting, and we need a president who is ready to meet the challenges we’re
facing and take the job seriously.

Trump never had any intention of doing his job -- he simply doesn’t have
any plans. Even when confronted with the biggest test of his presidency,
COVID-19, he consistently unloaded responsibility on governors, deflected
blame on China, and lied about the severity of the situation. America, we
know we are better than this.

If you’re like us, frustrated by this administration’s inaction and eager
to take this country in a different direction, [ [link removed] ]sign up to phonebank to
get in touch with the voters we need to win. We know better days are
ahead, and we won’t stop fighting for them.

In solidarity,
Indivisible Team

P.S. We’re proud partners of the [ [link removed] ]2020 Black National Convention on
Friday, Aug. 28 at 7 pm ET. The BNC is a broadcast for celebration,
education, electoral justice, and a [ [link removed] ]Vision for Black Lives to elevate a
vision for a more just union and the policies that will get us there. We
hope to see you there! We know this week has been tough -- join us this
weekend in celebrating Black lives and voices.
