John,

The upcoming election — with everything at stake in the middle of a pandemic — is going to be historic. This is why I write to you this morning with such urgency. We must be — and CAP is — prepared for the seriousness of the situation at hand.

We are very aware of the increased potential of lawbreaking and voter suppression as the election approaches. We've already seen opposition to crucial U.S. Postal Service funding when voting by mail is especially critical. And this is why CAP is leading the fight for protecting the U.S. Postal Service by calling for a rollback of new policies and leadership that result in slower processing... of medication, critical communication, and yes, voter ballots.

DONATE NOW

It's also why we’re providing officials with resources to promote safe elections, encourage voter participation, and mitigate potential election interference. This includes guidance on safety at the polls, transportation to easily accessible polling locations, voter registration drives, and many more strategies to ensure equitable access to voting.

Join forces with us now to support initiatives like CAP's Legal Accountability project, which makes all of this possible. Thanks to a generous matching gift, any donation you make TODAY will be doubled.

DONATE NOW

We must ensure that this national election meets the requirements for fairness and accessibility, and that everyone has the ability to exercise their right to vote safely.

Supporting CAP enables us to develop and share the necessary information and guidance on this momentous election.

So, please donate today to help us stop the attacks on democratic and safe elections. Your gift will make all the difference.

For progress,
