This week, Maine Democrats called on their own Senate nominee to withdraw over serious, credible allegations - because standing with women and survivors does not bend based on party lines. He withdrew.
Right now there is no Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Maine, one of the seats that could decide the Senate majority. Susan Collins has been raising money for six years, and we have just a few months to catch up.
The GOP is spending $8 million in an ad blitz before our nominee even has a name.
