QUEERING CONGRESS

The race for Texas’s 23rd Congressional District is getting dirty. The National Republican Campaign Committee tried to attack Gina Ortiz Jones for being gay. But after a swift outcry, they’ve changed their homophobic statement. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this one.

It’s been a very busy week for Alex Morse – and Primary Day is this Tuesday in Massachusetts's 1st Congressional District! First, he announced two endorsements from U.S. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Courage to Change PAC and San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz. Then, he joined Massachusetts state Representative Julian Cyr for a one-on-one conversation on our Facebook Live about the state of the race (watch here!). And finally: he outraised his opponent, a sitting Congressman, during the final quarter.

We’re thrilled to hear that U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren is endorsing U.S. Congresswoman Angie Craig’s reelection campaign for Minnesota's 2nd Congressional District and Jon Hoadley’s campaign for Michigan’s 6th district!
