Like you I watched, over the last week, bewildered by the Trump campaign’s alternate reality of our country.  This is yet another reminder that there is nothing that will stop this administration from continuing to mislead, distort, and say whatever they think it takes to hold onto power on election day.

Yesterday, Glenn Kessler and the fact checking team at the Washington Post laid out the blatant untruths told throughout the convention.   Please read below to see his convention summary.  

This is a wakeup call.  The conventions are over, and we are now on the final stretch, 66 days away from the election.  Despite what some pundits said after the democratic national convention victory is not guaranteed in November and we need to be ready for anything.

Due to COVID-19, the final stretch of the election will look very different from recent cycles. In order to reach as many voters as possible to get our positive message out, we will need to put together a paid communication plan more costly than recent elections in order to convey our message throughout Eastern Connecticut. This is necessary since face to face campaigning will be very limited and it will be necessary to overcome the wave of confusing misleading spin coming from the national republicans. 

Will you support our campaign today so we can break through the lies and misleading ads from now until election day?

Everything is on the line this November.  Without democratic victories from the top of the ticket down we will not be able to undo the damage to our healthcare, education system, and our economy as a whole.
