The New York Young Republican Club is the oldest and largest Young Republican club in the United States, incorporated in 1911 with predecessor organizations dating to 1856.
On Saturday, December 12th, 2026, we will hold our 114th Annual Gala, just as we have done through every major world event, including both World Wars and COVID-19, since our foundation. Pretoria, South Africa  – This September, the New York Young Republican Club (NYYRC) and leading South African think tank, Lex Libertas, will launch a coordinated international action plan to bring South Africa’s crisis to the attention of the United States government and the broader Western world.Â
Part of this effort is an international petition calling on the United States to appoint a special envoy dedicated to engaging with the Afrikaner community and other cultural minorities in South Africa, and to recognize the pursuit of self-governance as a legitimate and peaceful solution. The goal is to secure at least 100,000 signatories before formally submitting the petition to the President of the United States, the U.S. State Department, and the White House.Â
In February 2026, a NYYRC delegation traveled to South Africa and met with victims of farm attacks - persons excluded by racially discriminatory legislation, business leaders, and community institutions across South Africa. Their plight is memorialized by the White Cross Monument, a field of 3000 white crosses each with the name of a farm attack victim.Â
Together, we are bringing the White Cross Monument to Washington, D.C. and we want YOU to be part of the movement.Â

One effective way to do this is to join a committee. We are currently looking for Vice-Chairs for many of our committees, who will receive special discounts for working events and recognition on our website. In addition to Vice Chair positions, we are looking to build all of our committees in terms of members.Â

The New York Young Republican Club has caucuses that advocate for representation of their respective interests in the Club and Republican Party. We invite our members to become more active in our caucuses to promote Republican ideals throughout the five boroughs and beyond.
Any group of five Voting Members of the Club may petition the Board of Governors to charter a Caucus to forward ideas, advance an issue, represent a constituency, endorse candidates, or propose resolutions.
