Friends, I'm touching base after a particularly bad bout of Presidential schizophrenia.

It seems like every time our felon-in-chief leaves the country he picks up some terrible new notions. This time he flew Qatar Force One to Turkey. There, he restarted the bombing of Iran - I thought we had already won and had a perfect ceasefire?

Trump didn't fly back on Qatar Force One, apparently the Secret Service told him his flying bribe wasn't safe enough. Imagine that! But, when he landed he promptly copied his authoritarian pal President Erdogan of Turkey and began firing election officials.

Trump fired every member of the bipartisan Election Assistance Commission with just 4 months until the midterms. The Commission assists state and local officials to certify equipment and coordinate with other agencies. And over the last several years it has distributed over $1 billion in grants for election security.

I can only think of one reason why he would want our elections to be less secure.
