Brush Collection: Zone B

Friendly reminder that brush collection is back for Zone B on July 13!

Place brush at the curb by 7 a.m. on Monday of your collection week, but no earlier than noon on the Friday before. Stack branches neatly with the cut ends facing the same direction. Do not place brush in containers or in the street.

Art at VH: Terri Jacobs [ [link removed] ]

Explore Local Creativity at Art at Village Hall

Discover the work of local artist Terri Jacobs in the first Art at Village Hall exhibition of the year. An Oswego resident since 2007, Jacobs has been creating art since childhood and continues to explore new mediums and styles. Her style blends realism with a touch of whimsy, featuring everything from detailed paintings to cartoon-inspired creations and nature scenes.

If her work looks familiar, you may recognize it as the cover art for Oswego's 2025 PrairieFest program. In addition to this local honor, her artwork has earned awards and recognition in local competitions.

Don't miss the opportunity to view her first public exhibition before it closes. Village Hall, located at 100 Parkers Mill, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Upcoming Movies Under the Stars

MUTS 2026 [ [link removed] ]

Enjoy a summer evening at Venue 1012 with "Hoppers" on July 30. This animated adventure follows Mabel, an animal lover who uses new technology to explore the animal world in a whole new way.

Gates open at 7 p.m., so arrive early for pre-show activities, including Windy City Mobile Fun’s Mobile Game Truck and the Build-A-Bot Experience. Guests can also grab movie favorites from The Popcorn Store, Little Love Sweet Treats, and Bobby’s Dirty Soda before the film begins at 8:30 p.m.
