I know I sound like a broken record when I tell you that Trump isn't putting working families first.
When I listen to folks in Central and Southern Illinois, they are deeply concerned at the chaos in Washington affecting their daily lives.
They want lower grocery bills, affordable healthcare, and relief from rising costs.
What is Trump giving them? Nothing – he's building himself a gold-plated ballroom, giving billionaires tax breaks, and forcing a dangerous conflict with Iran.
I'm fighting like hell in Congress to reverse course and get results that matter. But if I'm honest, the real change we need will only come with a Democratic majority in November.
