Serving in Washington isn’t easy. Every day, corporate lobbyists and billionaire-backed special interests pressure us to compromise our values and abandon the working people who sent us to DC. To take on that system, you need absolute courage. You need to be unbought, unbossed, and unafraid.

That’s why I am proud to officially endorse Florida State Rep. Angie Nixon for the U.S. Senate.

Angie has a proven track record of fighting for working families, demanding moral consistency from our leaders, and taking on the establishment even when it’s hard.

We hear a lot of pessimism in the national news about Florida being a lost cause, but the grassroots progressive movement in Florida is alive and well. Just this year, Florida voters flipped Trump’s own home district where Mar-a-Lago is. The momentum is real, and Angie is next.

Right now, we are facing a massive affordability crisis. Everyday people are struggling to keep a roof over their heads, pay for groceries, and access basic healthcare, all while the political establishment caters to billionaires.

Angie is building a movement that speaks to the real needs of everyday Floridians because she actually listens and is one herself. In the Senate, she will continue her fight for a future where working people can survive and thrive, and where our communities are never left behind.

Angie is going up against massive corporate money. The establishment is doing everything it can to stop a grassroots, working-class organizer like her from taking a seat in the U.S. Senate.

She does not have corporate PACs writing her blank checks. She relies entirely on people like you.

If we want moral consistency and real fighters in Washington, we have to have their backs when they run.
