What we just saw in the Republican National Convention was nothing short of appalling.

The national Republican party has wholly given itself over to Donald Trump, and Trump has shown he'll do anything to cling to power, to deflect blame for his mismanagement of this pandemic, to stoke the flames of white supremacism, and create fear across America when people desperately need hope and positive action.

If the last few days have shown us anything, it's that this is the most urgent election of our lifetime. (I know that we say that every four years, but can there be any doubt this time?)

So, please, chip in $3 to help us take back the Senate and get America back on track.

You know this: Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell and their deep-pocketed friends are going to do everything in their power to tip the scales in their favor.


They're going to meddle with the United States Postal Service, telling lie after lie about the safety and necessity of voting by mail during a pandemic.

They're demonizing the civil rights movement happening right now in communities across this country.

They're stoking the flames of violence that, this week, saw peaceful protesters murdered in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

I can go on and on.

The Republican Party and Mitch McConnell have abandoned any notion of public service in order to support whatever Donald Trump wants. Where's the action on climate chaos, the gun violence epidemic, or the ongoing pandemic that has cost at least 180,000 American lives?

Every day from here to the election is another chance to build momentum for lasting, necessary change in this country. [OREGON-ONLY: Starting right here in Oregon.]
