In all my years working to elect Democrats, I have never taken on a Republican rival like Donald Trump. Even at his own party's convention, he failed to respect the office he holds and the American families he swore to serve. Trump has made clear what four more years of his administration would be like, so it's on us to prevent that grim future: Democrats need 100 more donors from Washington to donate $7 before Monday's deadline to defeat him, elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and win seats nationwide this November.

Let me be straight with you, John: The Republican National Convention was a prime fundraising opportunity for the GOP. I have no doubt that the surge of Republican megadonors during this convention will hand Trump and the RNC a boost before this critical, public, FEC fundraising deadline. But with all that's at stake with this election and early voting right around the corner, we can't afford to fall behind Republican fundraising -- even by a little bit.

Democrats have a tight window between now and November 3 to mobilize voters. Candidates across the country are counting on grassroots supporters like you to power them through to the end.
