Hosting a Discussion on My Bipartisan Forestry Bill at Flathead National Forest

To listen to my full statement, click HERE.

What’s New:

Last week, I hosted a discussion with local Montana leaders, conservation groups, timber industry leaders and fire officials on my bipartisan forest management reform bill.

For more information on the bill, click HERE.

Why it Matters:

This bipartisan effort I’m leading in the U.S. Senate is about creating good paying timber jobs, reducing frivolous litigation, protecting wildlife habitats and air and water quality, and reducing the risk of wildfire for at-risk communities.

What’s Next:

I will continue working to ensure we are managing our forests more effectively. I look forward to having a hearing on this bipartisan forest management bill in the Senate when Congress returns next month.
