taxes. We’d maybe, or even likely, get audited. That's just how the rules

Donald Trump Jr. [ [link removed] ]has seen his fortune grow sixfold since his father
took office — he's now worth an estimated $300 million. Part of that comes
from a [ [link removed] ]stake in prediction market Kalshi, which he was handed for free.
The Trump administration has gone easy on regulating prediction markets.
Kalshi benefited. And so did Donald Trump Jr.
[ [link removed] ]Now, the Justice Department is planning to give Trump and his family
immunity from IRS audits of their past tax returns…audits the rest of us
are potentially subject to.
Regardless of who is currently in office, being related to someone
powerful shouldn't put you above the law. The rules apply to all of us,
and that should include the president’s family. Allowing the IRS immunity
to move forward sets a dangerous precedent for all future presidents and
their allies.
