The Republican National Convention gave Abby Johnson a primetime speaking slot to stoke the flames of racism and misogyny.

First: Abby Johnson — a notorious anti-choice extremist — said it would be “smart” for a police officer to racially profile her biracial son, because “statistically, my brown son is more likely to commit a violent offense over my white sons.”1

Then: One day before the 100th anniversary of when some women won the right to vote, Johnson tweeted support for bringing back household voting, in which each household gets one vote — not allowing women their own vote.2

Now: The Republican National Convention gave Johnson a primetime speaking slot despite her racism and misogyny. Johnson's speech trafficked in anti-choice disinformation — and is proof positive that when the Republican Party is in hot water, they’ll do absolutely anything to stoke fears and energize their base.

But new NARAL polling shows that 73% of voters in battleground states believe abortion should be legal3and those are exactly the voters that we’re mobilizing to make sure we win in November, John.
