You can push politicians to scrap carbon taxes and red tape that block pipelines instead of forcing you to pay for their failure. 

Here’s what’s happening:

Politicians are chasing away private companies with industrial carbon taxes and anti-development laws. And now those politicians want you to pay for a government-owned pipeline.

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and Prime Minister Mark Carney announced a potential pipeline. The Smith government says it could cost up to $44 billion. Taxpayers are on the hook for 90 per cent of building that pipeline. 

Canada needs pipelines. But the real solution is for politicians to stop blocking development so job creators can build major projects without wasting your tax dollars.

We need to be able to build pipelines and other major natural resources projects in Canada. But governments shouldn’t be using your tax dollars to pay for these projects while politicians stand in the way. 

The solution is clear: Governments need to get out of the way and scrap their carbon taxes and anti-development laws!
