At a NATO summit overseas, Donald Trump declared the Iran ceasefire "over."
Overnight, American forces struck dozens of targets. Iran fired back at U.S.
bases in the Gulf. And Trump promised more strikes "tonight" - like he was
promoting a TV special, not sending Americans into harm's way.

​

No vote in Congress. No plan. No honesty with the American people about what
this war will cost - in lives, or in the gas and grocery prices that spiked
within hours of his words.

​

We know exactly who pays the price when powerful men play games with war:
working families. Kids who enlist because it's the only path they can afford.
Parents choosing between the pump and the pantry when oil jumps 6% in a single
day.

​

We deserve leaders who treat war as a last resort, not a press conference. Who
fight just as hard for peace abroad as they do for working people at home.

​

Democrats are working hard to power a Blue Wave in November and hold this
