Namaste, Tashi Delek, and Hello!

Adhikaar’s 15th Birthday kicked off in July but we are just getting rolling in celebrating our members, our community, and our progress.

We are proud to be grassroots; our power is our base of workers, new immigrants, and directly impacted individuals. Tailoring our advocacy and organizing to our community members’ needs is at the core of work. The way we see it, the way we raise money to resources this work has to reflect these very values.

These unprecedented times continue to shed a light on ways communities of color remain among the most disproportionately affected by crises. The crisis has not only impacted our community members but the economic impact threatens our ability to

fundraise to support the growing needs of our community. This requires a shift that is dependent on our ability to raise funds from individual donors and new entities.

This requires a shift that is dependent on our ability to raise funds from individual donors and new entities.

We need your support more than ever. There is a unique opportunity now to build not only a stronger powerhouse of Nepali Temporary Protected Status (TPS) holders, domestic workers, nail salon workers, labor trafficking survivors, undocumented individuals, and other marginalized Nepali-speaking immigrants, but people who power our movement through resources. People like you and people like our members who choose to give what they can. Every dollar helps build an organization fueled by the people.
