Texas is a toss-up because of candidates like Rep. Colin Allred, Rep. Lizzie Fletcher, Wendy Davis, Gina Ortiz Jones, Sri Preston Kulkarni, Candace Valenzuela, and Sima Ladjevardian.

Texans all over are tired of politicians who sell us out to the highest special interest bidders. They’re tired of politicians putting their DC bosses’ priorities over our country. They’re tired of Mitch McConnell dictating which legislation becomes law, and they’re saying enough is enough.

Just look at my opponent, Sen. John Cornyn. After 18 years in the Senate, serving Mitch McConnell’s every whim, he’s seen his approval ratings tank -- to 10 points below Ted Cruz's!

But powerful special interests and shadowy groups won’t sit this out. They know that our candidates are Texas tough, and that means we won’t roll over to do their bidding. Big Pharma, the gun lobby, the Koch network -- they’ll spend millions to prop up our opponents.
