DEMS #METOO THEIR OWN NOMINEE
Democrats suddenly found a scandal they’d “overlooked” for
months.
Maine Senate nominee Graham Platner — who won the Democrat primary
just last month — is being shoved out by his own party after a
former girlfriend alleged he sexually assaulted her in 2021,
allegations Platner denies.
After the bombshell report dropped, Democrats wasted no time kicking
Platner to the curb, despite supporting him through numerous previous
scandals.
But here’s the catch: Democrats now demanding Platner immediately
drop out of the race aren’t telling you why.
Maine law gives Platner until next Monday to quit. Democrats,
therefore, want him to end his campaign so they can hand-pick his
replacement.
PLATNER WON’T GO QUIETLY
But Graham Platner isn’t taking the hint.
With his party desperate to swap him out before Monday’s deadline,
Platner is reportedly refusing to drop out unless he gets something in
return.
A person familiar with his campaign told the New York Times he’d
step aside only “with a guarantee of being replaced by a
candidate” who stays true to his radical progressive agenda.
But beating Republican Sen. Susan Collins in November requires a
moderate — and Platner is holding the seat hostage for exactly the
opposite.

IS MITCH MCCONNELL OK?
The rumors got dark before anyone offered answers.
Sen. Mitch McConnell has been hospitalized since June 14, when
emergency crews reportedly performed CPR for a cardiac arrest at his
D.C. home, though his office did not confirm it was him. Still, weeks
of near-silence have let online speculation run wild.
Even Republican Sen. Mike Lee admitted colleagues are in the dark:
“Many of us aren’t speaking about Mitch McConnell’s condition
because we know nothing about his condition.”
But conservative commentator Scott Jennings quelled concerns
yesterday, revealing that he spoke with McConnell for 20 minutes
earlier in the day.
Senate GOP leaders said they’ve also spoken with McConnell.
TDS COMES FOR TRUMP ACCOUNTS
Some Democrats hate President Trump more than they like free money.
After Trump launched “Trump Accounts” — a novel program that
could help an entire generation of Americans become millionaires —
Democrats, once again, let their Trump Derangement Syndrome blind
them.
“It’s safe to say, I would pass on a Trump account,” Democrat
Rep. Bennie Thompson boasted.
“Why does Bennie hate children?” Trump aide Steven Cheung fired
back.
IRAN FAFOS — AGAIN
Iran just pushed its luck in the Strait of Hormuz — and found out
fast.
After Iran struck multiple commercial tankers transiting the Strait,
the Trump administration first yanked the license letting Tehran sell
its oil, warning the regime’s actions would “be met with
consequences.”
The consequences came within hours.
CENTCOM announced it had “begun launching a series of powerful
strikes against Iran,” calling the tanker attacks “a clear
violation of the ceasefire.”
Trump, after all, has already made the stakes clear: Iran can “make
a deal or we’re going to finish the job.”
