I'm writing today to ask for a contribution to my campaign -- but first, let me explain why your support is so important in this fight to keep Illinois blue and take back the Senate in November.

Right now, the Senate should be taking urgent steps to protect the U.S. Postal Service, address the unacceptable racial injustice in our law enforcement system, and support working families through this pandemic while curbing the spread of COVID-19. But Mitch McConnell and the GOP majority aren't concerned about helping anyone but those at the very top.

If we can't count on the Republican majority to do what's right -- we have no choice but to remove them. That's why I am fighting hard to win a Democratic Senate majority -- but that will only be possible if we defend every Democratic seat, including ours here in Illinois.
