Hey there --

Even if you didn’t tune in live to the Republican National Convention (and really, you’re better for it), we all knew that when Trump and his band of enablers took the stage, their lies would be front and center. It’s what this administration does best.

Trump’s most frightening comments included: 

*Claiming that his opponents are using COVID to “steal” the 2020 election
*Preemptively casting doubt on the outcome of the election by asserting that the only way he can lose “is if this is a rigged election”
*Taking to Twitter the next morning to yet again attempt to suppress the vote by claiming that mail-in ballots are “a roadmap to disaster” (when they are, in fact, one of the safest ways to vote during a pandemic)

It’s not worth tuning in tonight to see what fresh lies and racist diatribes await us. If nothing else, Trump’s speeches (and this entire convention) prove once again how unfit he is for the presidency. We can’t let this liar remain in office for another four years. We must defeat Trump and his corrupt, racist agenda.

Stand Up America has a plan to help put Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the White House, flip the Senate, help progressives take control of state legislatures, and unrig our corrupt political system -- and it starts with voters like you. Make sure you’re ready to vote this clown out of office safely in November. If you haven’t already, will you take a moment to apply for your absentee ballot? The sooner the better!

I don’t know about you, but it’s unsettling to hear the man who’s supposed to be leading our country say on live television that a global pandemic is one giant ruse to steal the election. It’s disgusting. And even more unsettling is that, if we don’t do as much as we can between now and Election Day, Trump could stay in the White House for another four years. Shudder. 

That’s not the future I want and I doubt you want it either.

Get ready to kick Donald Trump and his cronies out of the White House by requesting your absentee ballot TODAY. Voting early this year could be the most important thing you do.
