We’re at a critical moment in our country's story, and we urgently need strong, proven leaders who can deliver real results in the toughest places.

That’s why I want to take a moment to talk about someone making a big difference in one of the most competitive districts in the country : Gabe Vasquez of New Mexico’s 2nd congressional district.

John, Gabe has done something not many can. He's won twice in a district where victories don’t come easily, and he’s done it by staying grounded in the communities he represents. I know a little something about that.

Gabe shows up, he listens, and he fights for what matters — rural communities, working families, and the diverse voices that define southern New Mexico.

And now, once again, Gabe is in one of the most important races in the country, on the frontlines of the race to control Congress. His district will be crucial in Democrats’ push to flip the House blue in November.

Gabe is facing his toughest race yet. His opponent has Donald Trump's endorsement, and is at the center of a multi-million dollar national Republican effort to seize this seat and force through the same failed agenda.

John, Gabe is the kind of leader we need right now, and that’s why we must have his back.
