Over 10,000 Home Spirometers Provided through CF Foundation Program
Over the past five months, the CF Foundation has arranged to provide more than 10,000 home spirometers ([link removed]) to support the CF community’s continued access to high quality, specialized care during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. The initiative is part of our effort to expand access to telehealth as part of CF care for people with CF and their families.

CF Foundation Awards Nearly $15M to Spur Infection Research
The Foundation announced 33 academic research awards ([link removed]) focused on improving outcomes from difficult-to-treat infections that affect people with cystic fibrosis. The awards, totaling nearly $15 million, will be funded through the Foundation’s Infection Research Initiative ([link removed]), a sweeping, $100 million effort to improve detection, diagnosis, and treatment of infections that impact people with CF.
