Dear community,
Strong movements are built by people – the leaders, organizers, storytellers, healers, and everyday people who show up every day to create change in their communities.
At Headwaters, we believe that investing in the people leading our movements is one of the most powerful ways we can strengthen the movements make lasting change possible.
That's why we launched the Bridging Ecosystems Fellowship, a new capacity-building initiative that brings together leaders from eight grantee partner organizations across Minnesota. Through shared learning, coaching, healing justice practices, and relationship-building, these leaders are deepening their skills while strengthening connections across movements and communities.
In our newest blog, we introduce you to the fellows and share:
- Why Headwaters created the Bridging Ecosystems Fellowship
- How we think about capacity building as ecosystem building
- The organizations and leaders participating in the inaugural cohort
- The coaches, facilitators, and partners helping bring this vision to life
- What we're learning about investing in movement sustainability during a time of profound uncertainty
Read the full story and meet the inaugural Bridging Ecosystems Fellows.
We hope you'll take a few minutes to explore the fellowship and the remarkable leaders who are helping shape a more just and liberated future. As this work unfolds, we're excited to share more stories, lessons, and reflections from the journey.
In solidarity,
Headwaters Foundation for Justice
