Our district has been receiving a lot of national public attention and media coverage, and we’re quickly becoming a battleground for the upcoming election.

The Star Tribune just reported on Trump’s plans to double down in MN-08 because he thinks the district is the key to winning our critical state. And at the Republican National Convention on Tuesday, the mayor of Eveleth, MN took the screen to reaffirm just how important Minnesota’s 8th District is to Donald Trump.

Trump thinks that if he dumps millions of dollars into advertising and deploys his cronies to our district, he can convince Minnesotans that he cares about our district’s welfare. Shortly before Trump fundraised for my opponent online, Trump’s daughter Ivanka came to our district for a publicity stunt. Then Trump stopped by our state for yet another public appearance. And tomorrow, Mike Pence is coming to rally in Duluth.

But despite all of these half-hearted attempts to sway voters with superficial optics, it takes more than endless cash and private jet flights into our district to win us over.

Meanwhile, this campaign has been putting the REAL work in. We’ve been building up a strong ground game for months, and we know that if we can get Quinn’s message out to more voters, they’ll vote blue.

And Trump and Stauber know it too. They’re scared. That’s why they are pulling out all the stops and bringing in as much reinforcement as they can to ensure Minnesota’s 8th District votes red.
